MPANepal stands for Mushroom Producers’ Association Nepal. MPANepal is Non-profit, public benefit social organization that works for the Mushroom Producers’ Peasants who are living throughout the country. It has a large group of people as member with various member types such as The term “mushroom” derived from the French word “mousseron” which means moss or mousse. Mission
Our mission is to raise the standard of living of Nepali farmers by developing mushroom farming, earn foreign currency, encourage farmers and exchange skills, techniques and experiences related to mushroom farming through organization and help farmers by finding ways to help, identify problems and solve them.
Objective
Non-profit, public benefit social organization will have the following objectives. Spread the word about the importance of mushroom cultivation. To identify the area of mushroom cultivation. To give knowledge about mushroom cultivation to the farmers. To exchange experience among farmers, to organize national-international visits. To organize the mushroom producing farmers in this union. Making arrangements to sell the products of mushroom farmers in a simple manner at reasonable prices. To take initiative for mushroom cultivation in more areas of Nepal. Seek foreign markets for Nepali mushrooms, take initiatives to expand mushroom processing industries (domestic and large). To take initiative to produce mushroom in large scale and commercial cultivation in a scientific manner.
